What is Polarity Therapy?
Polarity Therapy is a natural health care system that works with the Human Energy Field. Energy fields and currents exist everywhere in nature. Polarity Therapy asserts that the flow and balance of energy in the human body is the foundation of good health. In a session, a variety of points are touched or gently manipulated by the practitioner to stimulate and balance the body's electromagnetic fields. The practitioner may also help the client process feelings and develop specific strategies for reducing stress and increasing wellness. Through this partnership, the client becomes increasingly empowered in his or her own healing process. Guidance may also be given in diet, exercise, and self awareness.

What is Reiki?
Reiki can be defined as intelligently guided life force energy. A Reiki practitioner acts as a channel for this intelligent life force energy which moves from the practitioner to the client while the client relaxes on a comfortable table, bed or surface. Because the life force energy is directed by a higher intelligence, it knows where to go to restore the natural flow of Ki.
Reiki is made up of two Japanese words, Rei and Ki. Rei is a subtle wisdom that permeates everything and guides the evolution of all creation. Because of its infinite nature, it is all-knowing and has its own intelligence to know where it is needed most.
Ki is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Ki flows through everything that is alive, including plants, animals and humans. Ki is is also referred to as Prana in India, Mana in Hawaii, Chi in China. The source of our health comes from the Ki that flows through and around us rather than from the functional condition of the physical organs and tissues. If the flow of Ki is disrupted, the physical body, mind, and emotions, can all be adversely affected. Disruption of Ki is the main cause of illness.
Lifestyle changes and changes in attitude, beliefs and thought patterns are often also needed to create long term and lasting effects from the healing sessions. If a client goes back into the same life habits and patterns after seeking treatments, the same illnesses and discomforts are more likely to arise again.

What is Pranic Healing®
